Now that I have more space I've gotten back into my makeup :) I have a little lightup vanity mirror that I keep on one of my desks and this is much better than putting my face on in the car(not while driving, I don't drive!). When I got into mac a few years ago I was 40 lbs lighter and feeling really good about myself, then I gained it all back rarely felt very pretty or pretty enough to put more effort into the way i looked. Then Ed was working on Super Meat Boy and we rarely left the house so I would go weeks without even putting on mascara D:
Lately though i have been feeling so good (except for the week I was on birth control:) I'm eating well and regularly walking on the treadmill so I'm losing weight, even though it's slow going I cant help seeing myself in a brighter light. I hope to do more of these type of posts and learn what the heck I'm actually doing. My go to colors are gold and copper so I'll need to branch out and take risks!

I'm super happy to have found Courtney's blog recently and then I saw this post on cleaning brushes which is so helpful, because really don't want to ruin a brush especially when you've decided to invest in a few $20+ ones! and she has super pretty makeup posts :)
