New Tattoo, Girl Power

So about a week ago I came across this drawing on tumblr. I asked our tattooer to make it look traditional and voila! I love it so so very much<3

I feel like a fucking badass. I love makeup,clothes,shoes,perfume, and shaving my entire body but that doesn't make me any less of a strong woman.

A birthday party at a bar!

We went to one of Ed's friends from high schools birthday party! We did pretty great for this type of atmosphere I think D: Ed was cool as a cucumber! So, I made The birthday boy a lemon brooch because that's his last name hah! It was funny watching people's reactions to it, i dont get to see that too often.

We stayed for around 3 hours, ate some delicious bacon cupcakes and banana pudding, when are you EVER someplace that has not one, but two amazing desserts?!?! We walked a few blocks down to get coffee and I had to run into forever21 to get some flats, luckily they had one size 10 I could squeeze into. The balls of my feet were killing me!! I'm really glad I got those flats though, then we headed back to the bar. I got stuck talking to a drunk girl who asked me if i had baby fever when I hit 28...I said, I always have times where I feel like that but I've been pregnant a couple times...she says,"how old are you kids?"....my response was,"no". lol that's all I could think to say! then it got kinda heavy and she told me about her experiences and I told her how usually after an "interrupted" pregnancy you'll have ( i don't know the right word for it) ghost pregnancy symptoms. It's sad that people don't have more information on this sort of thing since 1 in 2 women have have an abortion that's half...so if you're sitting in a room with 4 women there's a good chance 2 of them have. I was thinking about this when I was at my sisters house with 2 of her awful friends talking about pregnancy. I was thinking ,well I've gone through it, I know my sister hasn't so what are the odds that one of her 2 friends has. I asked her after they left and sure enough one of them had. It's unfortunate that things like sexuality, abortion,mental health,medication have such a stigma attached to them.These are things we need to talk about, things that can ruin your life if not openly discussed without shame...

 Anywho this post wasn't meant to be about abortion so continue on to the photos!!

I am amazing at pool! It's my second favorite thing to play, bowling being the first. I sunk 4 balls in a row one game, it was amazing :D Ed is terrible but that's ok because he's cute ("I'm not terrible!!" -Ed)  After 2 games the birthday boys band went on! It was sooo loud! I'll bring earplugs next time so i can better appreciate the music .

I'm so pooped! and Tammy has never been more happy to be in her wrap. She's been in here/there? going on 2 hours<3

 We got the kids set up in our bedroom so we could watch Ted downstairs ^__^  After their video (Nightmare Before Christmas) was over Acacia was still awake so she laid on the couch with us, my sister kept her hands clamped over Acacia's ears :x

Xmas gift // Keurig

I have been using this thing NON STOP! I love it SO MUCH! At first I was a little bit scared that it was gonna be complicated but it's the simplest thing in the world. I love mixing the different flavors! Two large (9.5oz)  cups fit in  my 20 oz mug with just enough room for cream. Ed is super pleased because I wont be constantly asking to go by starbucks :D I wouldn't recommend it if you like really bitter/strong coffee though, one of the reasons I never wanted to make coffee at home was I could never get it just right so i wouldn't burn my stomach. The black tea is super good, but the hot chocolate was pretty watery.  There are so many options on Amazon, I want to get the Celestial Seasonings tea sampler! there's hot cider too and a ton of different flavored coffees.

All in all a great gift! and it's extra sweet because Ed had to go by my salon to find out what the hell it actually was and what he needed to go with it :3

We found our very first garden snake. I wanted to keep him! He was so lovey(or very cold:) we now have a good bit of grass and a lovely flagstone area :) This spot before was completely full of weeds, huge dandelion ones and kind of an uneven slope. Now we have to decorate down there! Soon we will have steps leading down from the grass to that area and a veggie patch on the big square platform that held the last homeowners swingin' hot tub :x  

With the rainy weather and it being just us two in the house again it feels all cozy and magical and the idea of having Christmas here is making us feel all wiggly! It's a damn good house<3 The yard coming together makes me feel extra good and thanks to this wonderous thing our floors are the cleanest  they've been since we moved in. That steam  mop is freakin great! I did the whole 1st level, stairs, landing and still had water in the tank! It looks like it's about $20 cheaper now too :D 

I gotta get dinner started and have lots of work to do on Isaac plushes but I will be back tomorrow with a mushy love post<3
