WE'RE HAVING A NEPHEW!!!!!!!

OMG! OMG! OMG! I seriously cannot believe a little baby boy is growing inside of my sister. I can't wait to be an aunt to a boy!! Before yesterday I really wondered about spreading my love between two babies and then it hit me. I have endless love for these beings, it's such an amazing feeling<3

I'm currently at my sister's house baby-sitting my love. I got off work just in time to give her a bath and put her to bed<3 After bath time I gave her a present that I picked up from work, I saw it and though it was the cutest thing ever. She loves it and its been going nonstop on the baby monitor, go to sleep nooooow Acacia!


I am sooo determined to lose this weight! Ugh, I've been putting my will power to the test. For dinner I'm having a delicious bowl of abc vegetable soup that i found in the cupboard. It's surprisingly scrumptious. I work till midnight 3 days this week...booooo!

Tomorrow I find out if we're having a niece or a nephew. I'm 99% sure it will be a girl, but a boy would be lovely :)

Meeting Augusten Burroughs!!

Yay!!! Last Sunday my manager was nice enough to let me take my lunch a half hour early so I could make it on time to meet Augusten Burroughs and get a book signed. I also got the book I was borrowing from my sister signed to her "Happy Mother's Day" :) I would have loved to hear him speak, but oh well.

He was so awesome and wonderful but I didn't get a chance to ask/say anything because I was reeeeally nervous!

I was in the middle of Possible Side Effects on Friday when Ed spotted his name on the marquee at the book cafe so it was a little nerve wracking meeting this person who's voice has been in my head every night before I go to bed for the past week. I wasn't even going to go for awhile because the idea of meeting him was giving me so much anxiety. I really owe Ed for calling to see when the signing started, going home, picking up a book and the camera, and getting me from work in time<3

News n'stuff

This past week has been another crazy one. A health scare with Ed's mom, we thought she had a stroke but I guess she didn't, we're not sure what happened. Tests show that she has had a small one in the past couple of years though. I really hope she gets serious now and starts taking better care of herself. With that happening in the middle of the week my plans to send into CO went by by. That's pretty much all the news. We saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall last night after work, it was ok. We're taking our mom's to see Baby Mama tonight for mother's day. Hopefully I'll be going to WW with Bridget tomorrow morning, I haven't weighed in in a few weeks.

The rats got a new cage and they are loving it :)

I've been letting the rat's play in the bathtub to get some exercise until I can get them a bigger cage. I filled the tub up a little and they didn't seem to hate it, Emile actually seemed to really like it.
