New baby<3

We got a new lil baby today, he's a black bear hamster and he's super fat! I can't decide on a name, so far nothing fits. He matches Guppy perfectly :)










While getting his picture taken he decided to go to sleep :)


Christmas was good, I'll tell ya bout it later.

Phew!

Ah it's all done. The photograph was taken and hopefully it will be cute. I sat in front of all my fleece with my guys piled up me :) Now just have to wait for the article to come out! My cubbies look so delightful stocked full of supplies<3

Our tree is quite pleased to finally be sporting some cute ornaments. Must do more swaps next year! These were made by the lovely Lauren Smash. What an awesome package to open :) Sadly I am a turd and am running late so I have to make my package to Lauren EXTRA special!! Luckily L you're only 45min away so it should get there in a day *face palm* .


Of course Ed and I already opened our presents but I will wait to post them until after Xmas. We did pretty good waiting this year though, I mean mid December?? that's late for us!

Is it over yet?

Awww! a gift from Ed for being interviewed for the GoodTimes<3 Anna Merlan from the GT came over to the house to interview me today, I was petrified but I think it went pretty well. The article should be out mid January. I'm extremely excited as you can imagine! Now I need to get some new plush in a shop downtown that will be mentioned in the article, I'm also hoping to make a pretty large furry guy to be in the photo with me :)

I'm so glad it will be the new year soon. Christmas is stressful of course, for me it goes from being excited to really wanting it to be over with. I've been making dead babies for Ed's shop like whoa and finished a few custom orders. I'm relieved to have all that out of the way so I can get these ideas that have been swirling around my head out.

While I've been sewing I've been listening to This American Life podcasts, they are sooo perfect for sewing. I've listened to a few documentaries too, the best being, in no particular order: D.I.Y. or Die, Protagonist, Helvetica, Please Vote For Me.

I went to my sister's tonight for some of my mom's delicious cooking. While I was waiting for acacia's bath water to run we were looking at "funny cat videos" on youtube. So we're watching this adorable scottish fold playing with something and all of a sudden it cuts to a picture of the world's ugliest dog with some kind of screaming happening. I was in shock so it took me a few seconds to cover her eyes and close it. We were all laughing and horrified hoping it didnt really register but all through her bath she was saying, "monster doggy" with a very worried look on her face.....great, worst auntie ever :/

Welp I have some dead babies to finish and orders to pack.

Our little tree :)

Good evening :) I'm sitting her with an upset stomach, I ate my sushi way too fast. I was super Hungry and me and Ed were talking about a project that I've been thinking about. I'm super excited I'm just not sure which direction to go with it yet, we shall see. Anyway instead of relaxing I went from excitedly talking to manically eating my dinner...ouch.

After dinner we parked at the office so we could walk downtown, get coffee and go to the art store. When we pulled into the little parking lot there were a group of 5 or 6 young "hippy bums" sitting in a circle and then 2 real bums in sleeping bags taking up the only open parking spaces....seriously it's so out of control. Everyone at the building has no problem with the main bum, who's been christened bummy, sleeping there but then he starts inviting everyone he knows and they make a mess and pee!! Ugh go awaaaay!

Anywho! here is a photo of our little tree we picked up last night. It still needs a topper and possibly some mini lights! I found those awesome pear ornaments at the dollar store!! I dunno why but I like pears...it seems strange even to me but I love them, it's a kitchen thing but why not for the xmas tree too?!

Tomorrow we go back to our regular schedule. I'm gonna miss Ed :( but i need my time alone to focus, I have tons of xmas presents to make and I know if I leave it till the last minute I'll get nothing done.
