This is the elusive Nippled Codlonk, they are known as the foster moms of the sea. Anyone who's a little hungry and could use some nourishment is welcome to a drink. Codlonk's milk is the most nutritious milk in the world. Yum!

We drove all the way to Salinas today , cuz Tommy can only get a prescription (for his vd) at Walmart. Now I know this a regular place for some of you, you have one close by, someone on my FL works there even (Hi!). But lemme tell you, this place scares me. The first time we went to one was in Sacramento a few years ago, so just kinda try to imagine what that would add to the experience, just like the commercials there were 2 elderly people there to greet us at the door. All we needed was packing tape, no one knew where tape was.


Today I was scared going in, mostly from screaming children outside and just as we walked in and I was telling the guys, look! there's no greeter here, this decrepit man bracing himself on a cart welcomes us.That's pretty much it, not very exciting. But explain to me how this place is supposed to be so cheap with 4-5$ clothes but a full size bathmat is flippin $22. I know you were expecting more from this story but I try to stay out of trouble these days.


Then we went to the Mall that has a Sanrio store. So so so disappointing, hardly anything there expect a big display dedicated to Kuromi? I think that's what she's called, a sort of goth bunny thing. She does absolutely nothing for me. I need a store just dedicated to classic Sanrio, even Pekkle can be there, but no Pichacco!


By this time I was disappointed,achy, and bloated. Yes I know, not a good recipe for shopping especially for clothes, but I wanted to buy something to cheer me up. I passed up Torrid because the people there are never nice to me, I'm not fat enough for them so they snub me. So I go to forever 21, I see they have a plus size section, the clothes get uglier and uglier they didn't look like they belonged in the store not to mention I went from the regular clothes, mostly way too small, to ginormous clothes. So either someone bought everything in the middle or there's nothing for me. I'll just keep squeezing into larges for now.

This is my sad attempt at blogging part of my day. I'd like to keep it up but lately it's been me home sewing with the kitties and Ed working suuuper long hours so there's no real time for shenanigans :D

Hello there!

Blargh! Today was filled with sewing machine lameness. I thought my machine was beyond me fixing it so I bought a singer at Sears...I liked the singer enough it seemed really heavy duty but parts of it are not convenient to use at all, anyway I wanted to see if my old bobbin thread would fit...the thing was cracked, that might have been my problem in the first place but I was so consumed with the inner workings of it. So I lubed it up, switched out the bobbin, messed with the tension and so far so good. How come it's always me that's wrong and not the machine! Watch it mess up as soon as I got back to sewing, guh I hope not. I am on my 3rd skinny Monkey because the first two got mangled in the chaos. Any who, here's some pics.

The owner of Shmancy suggested that we keep out pieces affordable since the ecomany is such poop! So I figured I would do just that. I did have 2 weird creatures started but I figured why not keep it simple and also people that haven't seen my plush before will get a good idea of what I do since these are shop staples. Good idea no?

This is Sophie Lambington, she's been hanging around for awhile and today I finally made her a frock.

The weather has been so strange, I'm not ready for summer to be over but it did feel like fall for a minute and I got a warm fuzzy feeling inside :)

I need to get my Plush You stuff mailed asap, with lil D being born and a new kitty I sort of lost track of time.

I made a little red fox as a gift for one of my favorite customers who also happened to be my 300th Etsy sale.



Acacia looooves Moxie.



He had to take a nap between all the hissing and growling at Moxie....They have made progress though, he is very interested in her and they have been nose to nose without him hissing, I believe snuggles are coming soon!

that you can sneak into Sears portrait studio and use their lights,backdrops, etc.?!

You can! but you have to supply your own sweaters/sweater vests.





Also I'm 25.

We have a new nephew, born on my birthday, Dusty Elijah.



I've helped with 3 births in 3 years....still not sold on the idea :)

I have a new tattoo.




last but not least, we have a beautiful new kitty names Moxie! She was rescued by a friend in San Jose and we picked her up yesterday. She is the sweetest baby ever, even Guppy is coming around pretty quickly, I think they'll be snuggling by tomorrow night.
